Navid Vassey, MD
CEO & Medical Director
Taking pride in an empathetic and understanding approach, Dr. Vassey is a board-certified psychiatrist at Integrated Psychiatry in Houston, Texas.
There, he performs mental health assessments, helps patients manage long-term mental health conditions, offers medical treatment and therapy for a wide variety of psychological disorders, and offers referrals to other medical specialists as needed. He sees patients that are 18 and older for a full array of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, ADHD, intellectual disability, and psychosis/schizophrenia. He tailors each individual to a treatment plan that is unique to their specific needs, and offers referrals to other medical specialists as needed.
Dr. Vassey graduated from the University of Washington’s Psychiatry Residency program. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, which is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Initially working in outpatient community mental health, Dr. Vassey transitioned to inpatient care at the hospital where he treated patients on the psychiatric unit as well as served as a consult liaison on the medical floors and the emergency room. As a result, he has a wide array of experience that can help better treat patients’ needs.

I am Diya Patel, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Houston, Texas, currently practicing at Integrated Psychiatry. I am passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life through compassionate, patient-centered care.
My approach focuses on treating each patient as a whole person rather than simply addressing symptoms. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive therapy, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where patients feel heard, comfortable, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
I earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Purdue University and remain committed to promoting mental health awareness, reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, and supporting patients in achieving emotional wellness, stability, and long-term recovery.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, stress-related conditions, and other mental health concerns, offering both in-person and telehealth services for accessible and convenient care.
